Acupressure is an ancient healing art developed in Asia over 5,000 years ago that uses the
fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. When these points are pressed, they release
muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood and the body's life force energy to aid healing. Acupuncture and acupressure use the same points,
but acupuncture employs needles, while acupressure uses gentle but firm pressure.
Neuromuscular Massage is the utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue
of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to balance the central nervous system.
Hot StoneTherapy a massage with hot stones integrated in.

Acupuncture is a
traditional East Asian Medicine that has been practiced
for over 3000 years. It is a system of medicine where
no complaint is viewed in isolation. Rather, the body,
mind, and soul are evaluated together. The goal lies
in restoring and promoting the smooth flow of Qi (pronounced
"chee"). Qi is ones life force involved
in breathing, metabolism, and emotions, along with
all our body functions. Qi collects in our organs
and travels through meridians (energy channels). Disease
occurs when Qi is impaired, insufficient, rebellious,
or excessive. This impairment can occur for many reasons
including injury, trauma, emotions, stress, lifestyle,
and exposure to heat or cold. Small sterilized and
disposable, stainless steel needles are inserted at
various acupuncture points along the meridians to
stimulate Qi. This stimulation restores balance thereby
promoting health and healing. Herbal medicine works
on the same principles as acupuncture. Each herbal
prescription is tailored to each individual and works
synergistically to help strengthen the body's own
healing abilities. Each treatment typically lasts
for one hour involving an intake, pulse, and tongue
diagnosis and treatment. Other possible treatment
modalities include tuina (massage), aromatherapy,
electro acupuncture, bloodletting, moxibustion, cupping,
gua sha, auricular diagnosis, nutritional information,
and acupressure. Some commonly treated conditions
include pain, migraines, gynecological disorders,
mental-emotional problems (anxiety, depression, PTSD,
stress), menopause, fatigue, and digestive complaints
(IBS, colitis).
Pricing
Acupuncture, $75 per session. Sessions are, on average, 1.25 hours. Patients should plan on 1.5 hours for the initial intake and should come about 15 minutes early to fill out information forms. Herbal prescription is an integral part of these sessions, when appropriate. There's no separate charge for this. Patients do, however, pay for their herbs

Craniosacral therapy
is a gentle method of detection and correction that
encourages your own natural healing mechanisms to
dissipate negative effects of stress on your central
nervous system resulting in better overall health
and resistance to disease.
Craniosacral Therapy
is a light-touch manual therapy that addresses restrictions
in the craniosacral system- the membranes and fluid
that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
This vital system extends from the bones of the skull,
face and mouth, which make up the cranium, down to
the sacrum or tailbone area.
The craniosacral
system directly impacts the central nervous system,
therefore an imbalance within the craniosacral system
can cause any number of sensory, motor or neurological
disabilities. CranioSacral Therapy helps correct those
restrictions so the body can release the effects of
stress – naturally.
Craniosacral Therapy
is performed on a person fully clothed in loose comfortable
clothing. Using a very light touch – the practitioner
monitors the rhythm of the craniosacral system to
detect potential restrictions and imbalances. The
therapist then uses gentle manual techniques to release
those problem areas and relieve undue pressure on
the brain and spinal cord. Craniosacral therapy enables
a body to return to its greatest levels of performance
by freeing the central nervous system of restrictions.
Craniosacral Therapy strengthens your body’s ability
to take better care of you. It helps alleviate a range
of illness, pain and dysfunction including: Migraines
and headaches, Chronic neck and back pain, Scoliosis,
Orthopedic problems, Motor-coordination impairments,
Stress and tension related problems, Chronic fatigue,
Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ), Learning disabilities,
Central Nervous System Disorders, Emotional difficulties,
Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries, Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder, Infantile disorder, and many other
conditions.
Because of its positive
effect on so many body functions, a wide variety of
healthcare professionals today have sought out advanced
training in Craniosacral Therapy. They include osteopathic
physicians, medical doctors, doctors of chiropractic,
doctors of oriental medicine, naturopathic physicians,
nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists,
speech therapists, acupuncturists, psychiatric specialists,
massage therapists and other professional bodyworkers.

Integrative Breathwork is a guided training, similar to such practices as ‘Holotropic Breathing’ and ‘Rebirthing’. It grows out of the teachings and methods of great Yogis, past and present. The Full Breath, as it is called, opens all energy channels and charkas. Integrative Breathwork often awakens a person’s memories of her/his birth, infancy and/or past lives. The powerful vigor of this method removes blocks to the smooth, open streaming of bodily energy. In general, people realize, at least, the lower bliss or Samadhi within six sessions and can evoke a sense of overwhelming inner beauty and happiness – peace – for themselves, at any time, within ten sessions.
Practitioner - Martin Bock, Licensed acupuncturist has worked as a breathwork coach and trainer of professionals in this field for 26 years.

What is it?
Massage is the scientific and systematic manipulation
of soft tissue, primarily muscles, not bones. It is
a complement to the work of a chiropractor. Massage
on normal tissue is a pleasant sensation. However,
massage in the area of an injury or chronic pain,
may cause some discomfort at first, which usually
lessens considerably after the first few minutes.
Your therapist knows ways to minimize pain, and will
work carefully within your limits of comfort. Always
tell your therapist if you feel any discomfort, so
adjustments can be made. Never suffer in silence.
Massage is a regular health maintenance activity,
not a luxury. When the body is properly relaxed, everything
works the way it was designed to work.
What will the
session be like?
Your Therapist will begin by asking you some general
health questions, since under some conditions massage
may not be appropriate. Your massage therapist will
then leave the room while you undress and relax on
the table, covering yourself with a fresh sheet. You
will leave your underpants on, but draw them halfway
down your buttocks so that the lower back and hip
muscles can be accessed. You will be warmly draped
at all times except for the areas that are being worked
on. If you would like an additional blanket for warmth,
simply ask your therapist for it. Your therapist will
use a body lotion which is good for your skin and
absorbs well. For really sore muscles, your therapist
may recommend something like Ben Gay.
What should
I do during the massage?
Nothing. Just let go, be a rag doll. Do not try to
be helpful. Your therapist will move your arms or
legs as needed. If the therapist needs your help,
they will ask. There is no need to make conversation
with your therapist, however providing feedback is
encouraged. Just relax, breathe deeply, and go to
sleep if you would like.
Will it tickle?
The touch of massage is completely different from
tickling. Ticklish people are quite often surprised
that massage does not tickle. Being ticklish is a
sign of hypertension. If you are ticklish, tell your
therapist so that those areas can be avoided altogether.
What should
I do after the massage?
Rise slowly from the table, as you may feel a bit
lightheaded from the increased oxygenation of your
system. Drink extra water for the next 24 hours to
flush away the toxins that have been released from
your tissues. Continue to relax.
How will I feel
after my massage?
You will most likely feel very mellow, relaxed, and
perhaps sleepy. If you have had a very long session
of 1-1/2 to 2 hours, be careful driving, as you may
feel as you would if you had a few glasses of wine.

This form of soft
tissue manipulation focuses on the release of restrictions
that may occur in the muscle fibers and the interwoven
connective tissue known as fascia. Restrictions interfere
with muscle contractions and movement and may be caused
by adhesions/scar tissue, trigger points, and muscle
spasms. Myofascial Release involves a stretching of
the soft tissue that enables freer movement, reduction
of pain, and improved postural symmetry. This form
of bodywork is generally classified as deep tissue
massage.

Reflexology has been practiced for thousands of years in china and
India but it is not solely an eastern healing art. There is also evidence it was used in ancient Egypt and
Greece as well as by certain native North American tribes. Reflexology works through finger and thumb
pressures applied to specific points on the feet. The pressures are applied slowly and with firm pressure
therefore ticklish feet need not worry. These points are reflex points and they correspond to every organ
and every system, and every part of the body. In other words, the entire body is mapped out on the feet.
The feet have one of the highest concentrations of nerve endings, and pressure sensors in the entire body.
Reflexology works through the body's nervous system, when pressures are exerted to the feet the body
takes note and then responds accordingly by making physiological changes within. In many other countries
it is used to prevent and treat illness. The work supports the body's incredible ability to adjust and heal during
times of stress. It brings about relaxation, balance and wellbeing to the physical, emotional and spiritual body.
It can assist in reducing specific unwanted symptoms or can be used as a general "tune up" for the body.
Sessions only require the removal of shoes and socks - other than that all you have to do is kick up your
feet, relax and enjoy

Thai Yoga Bodywork is physical/spiritual meditation in action. In each session,
I place a recipient in a series of yoga postures and stretch and move her/him, rhythmically. As a practitioner
of this beautiful, traditional massage, I use a variety of techniques to facilitate a balanced flow, or streaming,
of vital energy throughout the body. Each assisted yoga massage is addressed to the individual needs of a client.
I pay careful attention to the physical abilities and limitations of each person, as well as to personal boundaries.
My aim in this practice is to evoke a state of vibrant, deep release from stress, i.e., a sense of peace and wellness.
Practitioner -Martin Bock, Licensed acupuncturist.
