Gentle Yoga is a gentle class using props. This
class is suited for Seniors or those with Physical Limitations, If you've
recently had surgery or illness, you may find this class a good re-introduction
to Yoga or Physical Activity.
Multi-Level Yoga is for students of various levels.
We bring the students into the various postures and then offer further
variations for those who want to go further.
Beginner Yoga is for anyone. We modify the postures
to suit the students. The postures are basic, gentle opening poses.
If you want more challenging poses, you can try the styles below or
the Beginner Yoga Instructor can offer suggestions for deepening your
practice. If a pose is too difficult, the instructor can give you suggestions
for modifying to suit your individual needs.
Ashtanga Yoga is a specific sequence of postures
linked together with a vinyasa (posture flow). Although it is a more
advanced sequence, our goal is to make the postures work for the student
rather than the student working for the postures. If you are interested
in advancing your postures, come and try it out!
Ashtanga Level II sequence begins with the Sun Salutations and Standing Sequence , as in Ashtanga Level I. Then we do the Level II postures and end with the Finishing Sequence. (See the demo of me doing Ashtanga Level II on the About Us Page.) I will always offer modifications and assistance to help you work toward a pose, as necessary. You are also welcome to join us for the Sun Salutations and Standing Sequence, and then just do the postures that suit you, ending with relaxation.
This is me (Robin) doing the Ashtanga Level II Postures to the best of my ability in 2009. I went to Austin, TX to get trained by David Swenson to teach this level in October 2011 and learned new assists and modifications.

Thai Body Workshop with Robin
Bring a Friend or Family Member and join us for this Thai Body workshop for Friends and Family! You will learn a one-hour basic Thai Bodywork sequence which you will practice on one another during the workshop. What a great way to help someone feel better, gain more flexibility, openness and overall health! If you don't have anyone to bring, come anyway and I will partner you up with someone.
